Who plans on adding paint protection film?

For those who plan on adding paint protection film, are you guys doing full front end or partial?

My initial plan is to go with the full hood, full fenders, front bumper, door cups, side mirrors and even the top of the rear bumper. Is protecting the headlight worth it?

We'll be getting the partial front end (about half the hood and fenders), full front grill and bumper, mirrors, door edges and handle cups, and headlights. May also do the handles.

Same, I found a person who has the 3M installed material for a great price and its warrantied.

We bought the paint protection, the undercarriage protection coating, a product that they fill the holes in the doors so water doesnt get in there and the 3M film on the front end, mirrors, door handles and door edges. i dont actually remember the price though i want to say around 1k

Where can I get non-Hyundai brand 3M film? Does anyone make it pre-cut for the Palisade?

why would you fill the holes in the doors so water doesn't get in there, When the purpose of those holes are to let the water out. If the window is partially open water can get in the door, without a way to get out, it rusts the interior of the door panel. That was why years ago the bottoms of the doors rusted thru

If you go touch a magnet to the door panel, you will see that they are steel on the bottom.
The way the doors close water wouldn't get up in the holes any way.

Suntek Ultra:

full hood
full front fenders
complete headlights (top and bottom)
mirrors
door cups
door edges
rear bumper top

the door edges and rear bumper top were added on by the installer after we had already agreed on a price, so he did them for free essentially

$1,500

nothing is cheap in the Bay Area

I added PPF to the hood, front bumpers and front fenders and headlights - Figured those were the highest traffic areas.

Hi guys...new 23 Pali XRT owner in Arctic white. I am considering PPF on the "high impact areas" with full hood so we don't have the dreaded seam line. I am drooling over the prices you guys are showing. The "reputable" installer in our area wants $2500!!

My big question is that I have seen a lot of people say that the film yellows in about a year. I live in Georgia and the Pali will be outside the garage quite a bit. Have you all seen this to be true?
